Paratransit Services

EZ-Rider provides ADA complementary paratransit service in addition to its fixed‑route bus system. This service offers origin‑to‑destination transportation for individuals with disabilities who are unable to use regular bus routes based on ADA eligibility criteria. To qualify, applicants must complete an application, obtain verification from a medical professional, and be certified by EZ‑Rider as paratransit‑eligible.

The fare is $2.50 for each one‑way trip within three‑quarters of a mile of a fixed route, and $5.00 for trips beyond that distance. Special orange trip tickets may be purchased in advance at any EZ‑Rider service outlet. One ticket is required for trips within three‑quarters of a mile; two tickets are required for trips outside that boundary.

Drivers will provide assistance as needed for passengers to board or exit the vehicle at the curb. While curb‑to‑curb service is standard, additional assistance may be provided when necessary to ensure passengers can travel from their point of origin to their destination.

Individuals certified for ADA complementary paratransit service may ride fixed‑route buses at no cost when presenting their EZ‑Rider identification card. For more information or to request an application, please call (432) 561‑9990.

Service Note:

Buses do not operate on Sundays or on the following holidays:
